Speaker Spotlight: Anthea Van Geloven

Anthea Van Geloven is the Farmer and Gardener at Spikenard Farm and Honeybee Sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Anthea grew up in Michigan with a passion for healing the land and growing food. She attended Antioch College and eventually graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Environmental Biology. After many years of working on small diversified vegetable farms, Anthea began working at Spikenard Farm in 2019 and instantly felt a connection to the work with the bees and the land. Spikenard Farm takes a biodynamic and bee-centric approach to beekeeping with a deep understanding of the honeybee. Through education and the creation of a sanctuary, Spikenard Farm works to promote the health and vitality of the honeybee worldwide.

Anthea is one of our many speakers at our 2020 Pathways to Regeneration: Restoration, Resiliency, & Reciprocity conference happening this fall on Nov. 6th-8th.
